K5 Teacher

Brie Combs was born on April 25, 1986 in Winston-Salem, NC. She began attending WBCS as a 2 year old and graduated in 2004.  While at WBCS she played volleyball, basketball, cheered, and played soccer and was twice selected as a Volleyball All-American.  She was saved after attending a youth revival at Gospel Light Baptist Church with the WBC youth group.  On the ride home from Woodland, Brie told her father about the service and was convicted of her need to be saved.  Her life was transformed at that moment and she determined to do Godʼs will.  She met Bradley Combs during her senior year and kept dating him until their marriage on August 5, 2006.  Brie graduated from Piedmont Baptist College in May, 2006 and taught at Gordon Baptist Christian School in North Wilkesboro.  On June 18, 2007, Holly Alexa Combs was born and captured Brie and Bradleyʼs heart as Godʼs precious gift.  In August 2007, Brie started teaching at WBCS as the elementary and high school P.E. teacher.  She also assisted in K5 as well as served as the junior varsity girlsʼ head basketball coach.  This year she is teaching K5.  She has worked in the WBCS After-School program and Summer Day Camp program since she was 16.  She loves spending time with her husband and daughter, going to racing events, fishing, hunting, and Duke basketball.
